- Trombonist/composer Michael Davis is a freelance recording artist based in New York City. His touring and recording credits include the Rolling Stones, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Sting, Aerosmith, Tony Bennett, Sheryl Crow, Jay Z, Buddy Rich, Bob Dylan, Sarah Vaughan and Bob Mintzer among others. He is the founder and creator of Hip-BoneMusic and is active worldwide as a soloist and clinician. In 2011, the S.E. Shires company released the Michael Davis trombone.
